🎹 Pre-Piano Explorers

Playful, music-filled lessons for children ages 4 to 6½

[Book an Introductory Lesson]

Overview

Pre-Piano Explorers is a gentle, joyful first step for young beginners. Children explore rhythm, pitch, note-reading, and coordination through deskbells, singing, and early keyboard activities — all in a warm, parent-supported environment.

I accompany on guitar and guide each lesson with care and encouragement, creating a musical space where children feel safe to explore, play, and participate.

I create a space where each child’s musical curiosity can grow, letting them follow the path that feels right for them.

Why Parents Love This Program

  • Encourages musical curiosity and confidence

  • Short, fun lessons that fit little attention spans

  • Parent participation strengthens learning at home

  • Lays a gentle foundation for future musical exploration

  • Sparks a lifelong love of music, whatever style your child discovers

Age

4 to 6½ years old

Materials

(Families don’t need to bring materials to attend the introductory lesson)

No piano at home? No problem. You can try the introductory lesson using my deskbell set and songbook. Materials are required to enroll in ongoing lessons. I provide guidance to all families in selecting a piano to support each child’s continued musical growth. For potential partner or group lessons, each student may need to bring their own deskbells and books.

Enrollment Steps

  1. Book an introductory lesson to experience the class format with your child. Tuition is applied if you enroll for the semester.

Parents should expect to participate in the introductory lesson.

  2. Commit to a recurring lesson time for the remainder of the semester if you enroll — this ensures consistent progress.

  3. Set up a payment method through Fons (our billing app) for monthly tuition.

Note: If demand increases, your one-on-one lesson may become a partner or small group lesson, with tuition adjusted accordingly.
